HatchBridge moves in!

Friends of HatchBridge,
With August comes a return to school for many and a new academic year as well! We are thrilled to welcome all our tenants into their offices at the new HatchBridge building - our kickoff was on August 1st and we are happy to share that all our offices are occupied! If you want to be on the wait list, click this link.
We still have room for more at our dedicated desks; our new membership just launched, and we have multiple program cohorts kicking off.
Follow us on LinkedIn for regular updates and don’t miss the HatchBridge Podcast recently launched by our student fellows!
Plenty more to come - but let’s keep building and talk more later.

Mark’s Corner

I’m excited to be here at HatchBridge and grateful to be part of what’s unfolding.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to sit in on some incredible conversations. I’ve met faculty working on everything from more efficient ways to teach music in schools to predicting E. coli outbreaks before they happen. I’ve talked with founders building AI tools for service companies, mushroom-growing equipment, and platforms to help businesses optimize labor across human, AI, and robotic workforces.
The range of innovation happening here is real, and it’s only getting started.
A little about me: I’ve spent the past 25 years building, scaling, and advising companies across industries like nonprofit tech, real estate analytics, food manufacturing, and retail merchandising. I’m a multiple-time founder, former CEO and COO, and have helped lead companies through capital raises, acquisitions, go-to-market execution, operational growth, and tough transitions. I’ve seen the wins and the setbacks, and I know how personal this journey can be.
Each month, I’ll be sharing a short post here in Mark’s Corner. These will be practical lessons and real stories from the trenches; covering topics like how to raise capital, how to go to market when you’re short on time and resources, how to build operating rhythms that actually work, and what it means to juggle real life while trying to build something from scratch. It’s for anyone who’s in it, figuring it out in real time.
I’m here to support that journey. Some of you I’ve already had the chance to meet. For the rest, I’d love to connect.
I’m looking forward to the upcoming programs and to meeting more of the builders, thinkers, and creators who make this community what it is.
We’re still building. And we’ll build it together.
