December 2023 Newsletter
December 22, 2023
Friends of HatchBridge,
Happy Holidays from the HatchBridge team!

HatchBridge will be closed to the public from December 23, 2023, to January 1, 2024. We will resume standard operating hours on January 2, 2024. Resident companies with 24/7 access arrangements will have access to their offices continually.
Greetings,
As we close out 2023 and head into the New Year, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support of HatchBridge and our mission to serve entrepreneurs in the communities surrounding Kennesaw State University.
2023 brought us the launch of HatchBridge’s first cohort in July and it ends with 12 companies in our second cohort, new programs on the horizon, and expanded services for our startups.
2024 will be the year of growth. We will build and launch differentiated programs for different types of entrepreneurs and work hard to multiply our impact on the community. I will look forward to sharing more about that path as we chart our course.
This newsletter will focus on HatchBridge offerings and spotlight the accomplishments of companies that are building in the ‘burbs. We’ll have regular updates in 2024 as we work together to build the community of entrepreneurs.
I hope you enjoy them,
- Colin Ake,
Director of Incubation and Commercialization

Expanding the staff with HatchBridge Startup Fellows
Kennesaw State University students are one of the greatest assets for startups through HatchBridge's new Startup Fellows program.
We are thrilled to highlight the exceptional contributions of our students at KSU, who play a crucial role in supporting our portfolio companies through the HatchBridge Startup Fellows initiative.
Faculty and founders are encouraged to submit project proposals to HatchBridge, providing students with a unique opportunity to enhance their professional skills while actively contributing to the launch and development of innovative ideas and startups off the ground.
