HatchBridge Monthly Update for June

Friends of HatchBridge,

Sometimes things get quieter during the summer but not here at HatchBridge! We're pumped to bring you an update on the last month and look ahead.

  • We are recruiting for Cohort 4 starting July 1 - and office space is an option for new companies. Apply yourself or send friends! Applications open June 3rd - read below for more!

  • We're launching two programs focused on commercialization and faculty startups in June. We're excited to have close to ten projects learning about customer discovery and starting to map out potential customers.

There's more - but that's what the rest of this newsletter is for! We'll see you soon - until then, keep building!

Director of Incubation and Commercialization

 May Events and June Happenings

Our 1st VC Madness

For the past 2 months, our Chasing Venture Companies have been gearing up for our first VC Madness that happened last week.

Companies ranging from pre-seed to Series A ran three 45-minute meetings with some of the top investors in Metro Atlanta as a dress rehearsal for their upcoming fundraising efforts.

Huge thanks to all the Funds and Founders that put in the work!

Built in the Burbs w/ Brendan Sweeney - CEO of Popmenu

HatchBridge was thrilled to host an incredible fireside chat with KSU Alum and founder of Popmenu (~$90M in VC raised) - Brendan Sweeney up at the Circuit in Woodstock.

Brendan shared his origin story and deep insights into building from zero, evolving your company culture, and adapting to radical industry changes.

Big thanks to Brendan for his time and the many 1:1 convos with our founders in the audience. A great ambassador of KSU and Building in the Atlanta Suburbs!
