June Newsletter

Friends of HatchBridge,

Happy June!

Summer is officially upon us this coming month - and it brings new programs and some exciting updates.

  • We launch a new Venture Creation program in partnership with the Cobb Chamber and SelectCobb this month.

  • We're excited to be one month closer to opening our new location! More information below - just keep scrolling.

  • If you're about to raise funds, attend fundraising office hours or reach out individually to a HatchBridge team member. We want to support.

I'll leave you with a teaser: July brings with it a new HatchBridge team member. Maybe we'll share the news in person at the June Hike with HatchBridge - if not, check back in July. Until then, keep building!

COED LaunchPad 4 Graduates

In partnership with the Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED), we’re proud to celebrate the graduation of 13 incredible ventures from our 4th cohort of LaunchPad. Over the course of the program, founders engaged in deep customer discovery, tested new ideas, and began charting their paths to market. Their energy, growth, and grit have been nothing short of inspiring.

And if you're ready to launch your own idea, keep an eye out: Cohort 5 applications open this fall.

Company Spotlight: Gather & Bloom

From a shared workspace to a vibrant storefront on Main Street, Gather & Bloom has blossomed into one of Downtown Woodstock’s most inspiring small businesses. Founded by Lauren Youmans, a former pediatric nurse practitioner turned floral designer, the boutique reflects her lifelong passion for flowers and community.

Gather & Bloom offers custom floral arrangements, a self-serve Bloom Bar, and a curated selection of gifts from 14 local women-owned businesses. The shop also hosts creative workshops, including floral design, candle-making, and painting classes, fostering a sense of fellowship and empowerment among participants.

As a graduate of COED LaunchPad Cohort 3 and HatchBridge’s Hatching Success Cohort 5, Lauren credits these programs with providing the resources and support needed to turn her dream into reality. Her journey exemplifies the power of mentorship and community in nurturing entrepreneurial success.

Visit Gather & Bloom at 8582 Main Street, Woodstock, GA, or explore their offerings online at gatherandbloomboutique.com.

Office Space: Virtual Open House

🚨 Big News: We’re Expanding!
HatchBridge is moving into a brand-new space at 1111 Chastain Rd NW. With private offices, dedicated desks, open coworking, a prototyping lab, and a classroom/event space, it’s built for founders who are ready to grow.

We’re inviting builders, subject matter experts, and supporters to tell us how they’d like to be part of the HatchBridge Ecosystem. Be among the first to tour the space, connect with the community, and claim your spot.

Our first Virtual Open House will be June 17th at 3PM.

Fundraising Office Hours

Got questions about raising capital? Book a 20-minute session with Graham Gintz, HatchBridge’s Associate Director, during our virtual office hours on June 4th and 24th. Whether you're just starting to think about funding or already mapping out a raise, this is a great opportunity to get tailored advice on your fundraising strategy and next steps.

Spots are limited—schedule your session now to get actionable insights and support for your capital journey.

Hatching Success: Applications Open

Ready to take your startup to the next level?

Applications are now open for Hatching Success Cohort 6!

This 14-week program meets every Monday and is designed to equip early-stage founders with the tools, frameworks, and accountability they need to grow. Whether you're refining your idea or preparing to scale, Hatching Success will help you hit your next big milestone.

The next cohort kicks off in August and is open to all members of the startup community.

Slice + Advice: Early Startup Systems

Join us for this month’s Slice & Advice, HatchBridge’s favorite combo of community learning and hot pizza. This time, our very own Operations Manager, Marie Northington will peel back the curtain on the startup back office—those unglamorous but mission-critical systems that make or break early-stage momentum.

We’ll dive into:

  • 📊 How to build repeatable systems that support growth

  • ✅ Project and task management strategies that actually get things done

  • 🧩 A live walkthrough of Monday.com—including boards, automations, and workflows for startups

  • 🚀 Why operational infrastructure is your secret weapon for scaling

Whether you're a solo founder drowning in sticky notes or a team leader looking to streamline execution, this session will leave you with tactical tools and strategic thinking to help your startup run like a machine.

Monthly Hike with HatchBridge: June 27th

Come hit the trails with us on Friday, June 27th, from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM.

This informal gathering, open to everyone in the Atlanta startup ecosystem, is a chance to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and innovators in a relaxed setting. The hike encourages meaningful conversations while enjoying the outdoors and getting some exercise.

Whether you're looking to exchange ideas or just take in the scenery of Kennesaw Mountain, we’d love to have you join us.

🌿 See you there!
