HatchBridge Monthly Update for May

Friends of HatchBridge,
HatchBridge is buzzing this May! We have three programs underway with some thriving companies, and a few events we’re excited to share.
Come grab a drink with me on May 29th at our second Built in the Burbs conversation. We designed the Built in the Burbs Series to both celebrate and explore entrepreneurs from metro Atlanta. You won’t want to miss this one as we’ve locked down an incredible KSU alum and the leader of one of Atlanta’s fastest growing startups.
Keep an eye for our social media and June newsletter - and catch me at at the monthly hike May31st. Til then, keep on building.
Colin Ake,
Fireside Chat with Brendan Sweeney: May 29th

Join us May 29th in Woodstock, GA for a Fireside Chat with Popmenu CEO and KSU Alumni Brendan Sweeney.
Popmenu founded locally in 2016, turns your restaurant website menu into a customer conversion engine by putting the experience consumers crave - photos, reviews and ratings - directly into your site and under your control.
Brendan will sit down with our very own Colin Ake to discuss growing as a leader at Venture speed, evolving the company culture through different rounds of funding, and the benefits to building in Metro Atlanta.
Drinks and snacks will be provided.
Launchpad Bootcamp Cohort 2 concludes
Partnership with the Cherokee Office of Economic Development
Today, we wrapped up our 2nd edition of our LaunchPad Bootcamp program in partnership with the Cherokee Office of Economic Development.
This program serves community entrepreneurs working to test various parts of their business models. Over the last month, 14 businesses worked through four two-hour workshops introducing them to common tools and structure they'll need as they design experiments and test assumptions.
We are excited to work with these entrepreneurs as they iterate on their business models, and even more excited that they all are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in grant funding.

Incubator Spotlight: The Little Sober Bar

NOT A TYPICAL FESTIVAL hosted by The Little Sober Bar! On June 8, 2024, from 10 AM to 8 PM held in at Woodstock Art Event Green for a day packed wit music, options and activities together for a Block Party unlike anything suburbia has ever seen.
This family-friendly community event is completely free and includes a variety of vendors, live music, a silent disco, and numerous activities for all ages. Come and explore new sober curious options in a fun and supportive environment!
The Little Sober Bar (Hatching Success Cohort 3) was created to offer alternatives for those pursuing sobriety, operates as a mobile non-alcoholic market and bar, and is now bringing a unique experience directly to you.
Hike with HatchBridge - Friday May 31st
Come join us for our monthly on Friday, on May 31st from 9-11am!
Our goal is to stimulate engaging discussions, foster new relationships, and enjoy the stunning scenery of Kennesaw Mountain.
The hike is open to everyone in the Atlanta Startup Ecosystem. It's designed to be a time for organic, informal business conversations while improving our health. We meet at the picnic tables near the trail entrance.
